Jacob,
Wow, you are already one! Today, we celebrated by going to the beach to see Mama, Sandy, Aunt Lois, and Greg. You had a birthday cupcake, and it was everywhere...we even had to call housekeeping to get a vacuum cleaner to clean it up! We played in the pool and ate hot dogs for dinner. Daddy also turned your car seat around today, and you looked like such a big boy sitting facing forward!
It is hard to believe that a year ago today that Daddy and I were at the hospital having you. We never knew how much joy you would bring to our family, but the answer is LOTS! Ethan has adapted to being a big brother to you, and you just adore him. It is so fun to watch the love you have for each other. I know that y'all will be the best buddies!
